Bodynamic Psychotherapy
In Bodynamic somatic psychotherapy, the goal is to help you become aware of these subconscious patterns stored in your body. It’s not about changing who you are, but about understanding and accepting these patterns so they can become more flexible. By doing this, you gain new resources—ways to respond to challenges that are healthier and more balanced.
During the sessions, you develop a positive relationship with your own defense mechanisms—those automatic reactions that once helped you survive difficult situations. You learn when they were useful in the past and how to adapt them now, making your overall personal structure more resilient.
One of the most amazing benefits of this approach is that your body becomes like a smart, intuitive guide—your “antenna”—that alerts you early when something isn’t right. This awareness allows you to respond more effectively to stress or challenges, helping you feel more in tune with yourself and your needs.
In summary, Bodynamic therapy helps you reconnect with your body’s wisdom, understand your subconscious patterns, and develop a more flexible, resilient way of living. It’s a holistic approach that nurtures both your mind and body, leading to greater self-awareness and well-being.
Body Reading
Body-Reading is a technique that helps you explore the connection between your body and your personal life story. You might feel that your physical sensations or symptoms reflect aspects of your personality, or simply want to learn more about yourself.
During the session, I will gently massage and touch your body to observe the tension (or lack of tension) in your muscles and fascia. This allows me to interpret how these physical patterns relate to your personality traits.
As we work together, you’ll become more aware of your body sensations and manifestations—such as tension, pain, or heightened sensitivity. These clues, combined with my observations, serve as keys to understanding the psychosomatic language your body is communicating.
Later, we will explore the root causes of these symptoms by connecting them to your conscious mind. We use tools from the somatic psychotherapy approach called Bodynamic, which include breathing exercises, sensing techniques, and muscle activation. These methods help you access and understand the deeper origins of your physical and emotional patterns.
Somatic Release
Somatic Release is a therapeutic approach focused on helping you release stored emotions that are often connected to past trauma. The goal is to gradually let go of these embodied feelings that may have been held back or suppressed over time.
During the session, the therapist works with specific trigger points on your body, applying gentle pressure and massage to help release accumulated tension. Your breathing is also an important part of the process, supporting the release of these emotions. This approach allows stored feelings to surface and be expressed safely.
It’s essential that your limits and boundaries are respected throughout the process. Respecting your personal boundaries is fundamental for the success of the therapy, as it creates a safe space for you to explore and release emotions at your own pace.
As you progress, you may experience a new perspective on your body, awakening sensations, memories, feelings, and emotions that might have been forgotten or repressed. This can lead to a profound shift in how you relate to yourself and your body, often bringing a sense of relief and greater self-awareness.
However, there is a potential risk of revisiting traumatic experiences if boundaries are crossed or if the process isn’t carefully managed. That’s why a skilled therapist ensures that your limits are always honored, making the experience as safe and supportive as possible.
Typically, a session includes an introductory talk, the somatic release practice itself, and a final integration phase, where you can reflect on and process what has emerged.
Shiatsu- and deep tissue massage
Here it´s about receiving. I use different techniques like Shiatsu, cupping, Calatonia and deep tissue massage to balance stretching movements with pressuring trigger points. This massage, is the right therapy for you when you have some muscle or myo-fascia pain that you want to be released.
This massage, is as well recommended, after one of the previous therapies with me, to integrate new learning and previous experienced body sensations.
As-well I highly recommend this therapy, if you´re just learning to receive and to communicate your needs and wishes about touch and pressure.
Family Constellation
Family constellations were founded by Bernd Hellinger who discovered the “basic orders of life” which he called “the laws of love” and are the base of family constellations.
FAMILY CONSTELATIONS are a psychotherapeutic method that mostly works emotions and subconscious energies that influence our lives using the “laws of love”, which have a huge potential of healing.
These three laws involve 3 principles:
- Re-establish the order and hierarchy within a family system; for example, if a daughter act like a mother in her family.
2.Re-establish a healthy dynamic between giving and receiving and respecting the hierarchy in the family system.
- Inclusion. Sometimes a family represents the “black sheep” and often is excluded by other family members.
If one of these principles is disturbed, it can be the origin of a respective pattern, manifested trough illness, pain, addiction among other things.
A family constellation can bring more clarity, acceptance and consciousness, that are necessary to change one’s attitude towards life.
In a group constellation, someone chooses a topic that he/her wants to work with and bring it to the facilitator. After that, he/her chooses of the participants who will represent symptoms, family members and so on. The representers don´t know who/what they represent but they will manifest behaviors, movements and postures that a familiar to the one, who constellates. Here, the facilitator observes the movement of the system, bring elements together or/and separates them or/ and asks them to say short sentences that are suggested by the facilitator.
In a individual session, puppets replace the participants and represent family members, emotions and so on. An individual session, permits a more intimate atmosphere and that can it make it easier for the client to integrate the process.
